General Information

The Cracow Epiphany Conference has had a different topic every year. The series started in 1995. By bringing in new subjects and inviting new participants every year the meetings offer a general forum to discuss the frontiers of physics.

The goal of the present edition of the conference is to review advances in physics at future lepton-hadron experiments. Following the decision on the Electron-Ion Collider localisation and its construction, and developments in the preparation of the polarized lepton and hadron beams the main stress will be put on physics wealth to be studied. Also, the physics programmes of the proposed energy frontier lepton-hadron colliders, LHeC and FCC-eh, will be discussed.

• Proton tomography
• Proton and nuclear structure
• Small x physics
• Diffraction and saturation
• Exotica and beyond Standard Model physics

Venue

The conference will be held at the Henryk Niewodniczański Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences (IFJ PAN), 152 Radzikowskiego Street, Cracow, Poland (see map). Conference dinner

All participants attending in person are kindly invited to the conference dinner, which will take place on Jan. 18, 2023. The cost of the dinner is included in the conference fee.

Conference fee and payment information

All participants are requested to pay the conference fee of 1200 PLN or 250 EUR. The fee covers fixed costs, conference proceedings, coffee breaks, lunches, and the conference dinner and can only be paid by bank transfer.
The deadline for payment is 31 December 2022.

Participants should book the hotel themselves, however, we propose a few options for the accommodation:

The Q Hotel Kraków, Major Hotel, Novotel Kraków City West and DS Krakowiak Kraków are situated in the northwest part of the city (merely within walking distance of the venue). The location of the hotels is convenient for guests using public transport because of direct connections to Rondo Ofiar Katynia (bus stops neighbouring IFJ PAN).
